Updates on ARCL Prize distribution ceremony
Hello teams, We hope you are safe and healthy. Per our earlier communication, we decided to cancel ARCL league this year due to ongoing COVID-19 situation. As a result, we will also cancel our prize distribution ceremony for this year. However, you can still collect your summer’19 trophies starting Monday (6/22) directly from American trophies and Engravings store located at 12005 NE 12th St Suite #56, Bellevue, WA 98005; you can visit the store during weekdays between 10am – noon anytime. Once you pick your trophies, please make sure to place the boxes back in the order you started; this will help ARCL and others to avoid misplacing trophies.
We ordered trophies based on ARCL website; if you see any spelling mistakes, please get them corrected at the store itself.
Note -- American trophies and Engravings store will be closed during holidays and weekends. Check their website (http://www.americantrophies.net/) before you visit.

Summer and Spring 2020 Seasons Cancelled
We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. As per our previous communications, the safety of our players and the community is of utmost importance to us. We are also watching the guidance on different phases and progress WA state is making. At this point, the league can be conducted only when we move to Phase 3. Currently, it does not seem likely that Phase 3 will happen in the next month at minimum. We expect it to be be much later than that. Keeping above context in mind, below are the details for ARCL activities this year:
1) Spring 2020 and Summer 2020 seasons will be cancelled for this year
2) We will start the process of refunding the league fees to the teams starting next week. We will refund the same accounts the payment was made from for each team. We are in the process of transferring money from bank account to paypal so please be patient as we process all refunds. If you dont get your refund by June 30th, please reach out to us and we will follow up as needed
3) Depending on when we hit Phase 3 and beyond, we will consider scheduling a 'recreational' season this year which will not impact any rankings. This is to ensure that we respect individuals and teams that want to be extra cautious about their safety this year.
4) We will not be doing official prize ceremony. Instead we will be sending instructions in another email to all the teams/individuals who would have been up to receive trophies for last season on how and when they can collect their trophies.
5) Please note that all ground reservations are cancelled so please don't use the fields unless you have your own reservation. ARCL will only schedule games when it is safe to do so and at that time will do the needful reservations. We have received emails from ground authorities to request teams to be mindful of this as few individuals have been using the fields for cricket.
In the last 18-20 years of operating this league we never thought we would be skipping a whole year of crick

Update 1: Spring League update for Men, Women, You
Update 1: March 4, 2020 Next update: March 10,2020 We hope you and your family members are staying safe in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak around us. As you know we have canceled the prize distribution ceremony as a precaution. However, our Spring registration is still ON and we plan to continue scheduling matches for Spring. However, due to the unpredictability of the nature of this outbreak, this decision might change based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) or Public Health officials. We will align our decision with schools and other institutions that are open and functioning.
We want to reiterate what we have heard in abundance over the last few weeks and call out certain measures we all need to take as a community to help prevent the spread of any diseases or sickness that might arise as a result of meeting one another at practices or scheduled matches. For Youth Leagues, we request parents or team managers ensure their wards follow these rules
What you can do to reduce risk and virus spread:
• Players are to wash your hands frequently and vigorously for at least 20 seconds (Sing “Happy Birthday”) with hot water and soap. • Ensure everyone sanitizes their hands often, especially during breaks. • Follow a strict no-touching policy, no high-fives, no team huddles, a peace sign works at these times or your team can make up their own! • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with your hands. • Please ensure your kits are stocked with Kleenex, hand-sanitizers. • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. • Avoid hand to face contact, avoiding eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
